Afferent Capital is a physician-founded investment firm. We commit principal capital to healthcare businesses and to the infrastructure that carries clinical information.
The firm is based in Las Vegas. Distance from the usual corridors is a feature. We can take time. We do not need to perform a market.
We do not publish a museum of logos. Relationships here are private by default. If you are building something that belongs on this desk, write us.
Principal
Brian Ahuja, MD
Brian is a board-certified neurologist. His clinical work is in neurophysiology — reading the nervous system in real time, including intraoperative neuromonitoring — and in telemedicine neurology.
That training is the firm’s method. A signal arrives from the periphery. You do not invent it. You receive it, localize it, and only then act.
He founded Afferent Capital to put that standard to work outside the hospital: concentrated capital, long horizon, healthcare first.

Independence
We are not a product of a larger platform. Judgment is not rented.
Discretion
Operators trust us with unfinished work. We do not advertise their names.
